Leaves play a very important role
not only for plants but also for people.
There is one more important part of a leaf. It is called STOMATA.
Stomata are very small openings (or you can call them pores).
These small openings allow carbon dioxide to enter and oxygen to exit
the leaf.
Without these small openings it would not be possible for people to
breathe new oxygen, which means we would die.
