GLOSSARY
               Bones
                -  the hard tissue that forms the skeleton of a person or animal.

               Skin
                -  the thin tissue covering the body of a person or animal

               Skeleton
                -  the inner framework of bones and cartilage in vertebrate animals. Skeletons support the
                   body and protect softer body parts

               Joints
                -  a place or point where two or more parts come together or are connected

               Elbows
                -  the bend or joint between the upper arm and the lower arm

               Knees
                -  the joint between the upper and lower parts of a human leg

               Grow
                -  to become larger

               Surface
                -  the outside limit or top layer of something

               Periosteum
                -  a tough, fibrous membrane that covers all bones except at the joints

               Bone marrow
                -  the soft fatty tissue at the core of most bones, where many types of blood cells form and
                   mature before entering the blood stream

               Jawbone
                -  any of the bones that are part of the jaw, especially the lower one

               Cartilage
                -  tough, white tissue that forms part of the skeleton of humans and other animals. Cartilage
                   is not as stiff as bone. Cartilage is found in the ear, nose, and joints
