P. 10

Let’s summarise.
Plants produce the oxygen we breathe.
Without oxygen, life would not be possible.
Photosynthesis is a process in leaves that changes sunlight and water

                                            into oxygen and glucose.
Leaves are made of four parts: the edge, veins, the midrib, and the
                                                        petiole.

Leaves are green thanks to chlorophyll. Chlorophyll enables plants to
                                                  produce oxygen.

Each leaf has small pores through which sunlight enters the plants.
                                             They are called stomata.
