CANCELLOUS (spongy bone) bones are layers that can be found
inside the compact bone. They look like a sponge.
The cancellous bone is not as hard as compact bone.
But it is very strong.

The last layer of bone is the BONE MARROW. It is protected by the
cancellous bone.
The bone marrow looks like thick jelly.
Its job is to make blood cells.
