Phishing
Phishing is the use of deceitful emails and calls to gather personal
information like credit card information, information about their bank
accounts or passwords.
A phishing email or voice call might ask you to call a number to discuss
a problem with your account and you will be asked to provide your
password and other details. Other times you might receive an email
saying that somebody tried to log in to your account from a different
place and you will have to verify your activity by clicking on a link that
might look real but is actually not. By clicking the link, you might
accidentally download malware and other kinds of viruses.
