               Foreign politics




































               Corvinus was very successful in foreign policy and diplomacy. He stabilized his authority and

               also the position of the country. He was in touch with the papacy, Venice, Naples and other
               Italian  states.  He  conquered  Bosnia  and  then  tried  to  occupy  the  Bohemian  kingdom.

               However, it was a big mistake that led to 10 years of struggles. They  ended with peace that left
               the Bohemian crown to Vladislav II, while Matthias had the Moravian and Silesian territories.
