               Academia Istropolitana






























               In  1465, Academia Istropolitana was  founded  in  Bratislava.  It  was the  first  university in
               Slovakia. Istropolitana had four faculties: theological, law, medical and artistic. Teachers from

               Vienna, Italy, Poland lectured there. When Corvinus died, Academia Istropolitana was closed.
